Ady Peck- Bass Guitar
Ady started playing bass at the age of thirteen whilst studying piano and cornet at school. During his musical education he played bass in orchestra pits at local theatres, and has toured with musical productions to the Edinburgh Fringe. After studies, in the late 80’s and 90’s Ady was a member of a number of original rock bands, the most notable being melodic rock band “Geneva”.
It was with this band that Ady had the most commercial success, with a single and E.P release, as well as some chart success in Europe and sessions for B.B.C Radio One at Maida Vale Studios. It was with this band whilst supporting the likes of Saxon, F.M and The Quire Boys that Ady played his biggest venues.
With the demise of melodic rock and the advent of grunge, Ady went on to play in covers bands 0602 and The Vinyl Years and briefly appeared as bass player with U.K rock outfit Double Cross who’s arena tour with styx and debut album time after time earned them rave reviews.
Ady joined The Splinter Band late in 2009 and this is now his only musical project. When not playing Bass in the band, Ady will be found playing golf or watching motor racing.
